I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very nice and super comfortable, although a bit dark with a view to a patio. I found the hotel to be a unique and welcoming place with a rich history, although some aspects were not ideal. The rooms, combined with the historic ambiance, were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, but there were noise disturbances from trams and glass bottle bins being tipped and emptied early in the morning. The location is great for exploring the main sites and shopping, but unfortunately marred by an increasing homeless presence.
